Principal's Welcome

Dear Smith Intermediate Families,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Smith Intermediate School. It is both an honor and a privilege to join the Smith family, and I am excited to begin building relationships with our students, staff, families, and community.

For many years, I have dedicated my life to education because I firmly believe in the power of schools to positively impact the lives of children. Throughout my journey as an educator, I have had the opportunity to serve students in a variety of roles, each one strengthening my commitment to helping every child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

While I am passionate about education, my greatest joy comes from my family. My husband and our four wonderful children have been my biggest supporters and have encouraged me to pursue my dreams in education. They have taught me the importance of patience, resilience, and the value of strong relationships, qualities that I strive to bring into my work every day.

As I begin my time at Smith Intermediate, I am committed to creating a school environment where students feel safe, respected, challenged, and inspired to learn. I believe that when schools and families work together, amazing things happen for children.
